Thomas DeLacy Scott, passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, September 20, 2017. Beloved husband of Barbara Jo Scott, nee Block. Loving father of Elizabeth (Andy) Porter, Erin (Jack) Papin, Tom (Sandi) Scott, Dan (Karen) Scott, and Peter (Marjorie) Scott. Devoted grandfather of Ethan, Lindsay, Emily, Michael, Nicole, Gavin and Ryan. Dear uncle of Jason, Jennifer, Jessica, and Courtney and 6 little great nieces. Preceded in death by his parents, T.W.A. and Florence Scott, his brother John C. Scott. And his infant son Christopher.
Tom was proud of his service in the U.S. Marine Corps, his 37 year career in public education as a teacher and principal of schools in Elmhurst, Northbrook and Lake Villa, IL. But most importantly, he was proud of his family and his role of husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Mass at 9:30 A.M.
